This Privacy Policy describes how Gabadoo Limited (the “Site” or “we”) collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.
Collecting Personal Information
When you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to any information that can uniquely identify an individual (including the information below) as “Personal Information”. See the list below for more information about what Personal Information we collect and why.
Device information
- Examples of Personal Information collected: version of web browser, IP address, time zone, cookie information, what sites or products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site.
- Purpose of collection: to load the Site accurately for you, and to perform analytics on Site usage to optimise our Site.
- Source of collection: Collected automatically when you access our Site using cookies, log files, web beacons, tags, or pixels.
- Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Shopify aswell as SendInBlue to to store and manage emails.
Customer support information
- Examples of Personal Information collected: Your Email is only used to make contact with you.
- Purpose of collection: to provide customer support.
- Source of collection: collected from you.
- Disclosure for a business purpose: Communication and Marketing purposes
Gabadoo services information
- Examples of Personal Information collected: Your Email is only used to make contact with you and to create an account for you. We may ask for your country/state so we can ensure you are getting support from a professional registered in your region.
- Purpose of collection: to provide services offered by Gabadoo
- Source of collection: collected from you.
- Disclosure for a business purpose: The information you provide to us is used to provide service. This information is only shared with therapists who may be providing you with support or our senior management team
Minors
To provide support to schools, and families we need to collect information so our team on Gabadoo can make an assessment on how to provide you with support. You have full control of the information you provide to us and you only need to provide information you are comfortable in providing.
- Examples of Personal Information collected: Child's Name, Age, Typical day, Motivators, Siblings, Family Structure etc.
- Purpose of collection: to provide therapy service.
- Source of collection: collected from you.
- Disclosure for a business purpose: Information about your school, a child/student or family is only used to provide our services and is not used for any purpose outside of this. The therapists on our platform and senior management, when necessary, are the only ones with access to this information and it is stored on secure AWS servers.
- Medical Record Regulations: As with any healthcare service, we must follow regulations for the storage of Medical Records. Any information you provide must be stored by Gabadoo Limited for a period of 7 years and all GDPR regulations are abided by.
- Research: To improve our services on Gabadoo, and to improve services globally, Gabadoo Limited may use anonymised information for research purposes. The type of anonymised information that may be gathered may include a child's age, class/grade, gender, country of residence, race, the reason support is being sought, or any diagnosis they may have. There will never be identifiable personal information shared with any parties outside of Gabadoo without your written permission.
- Access to information: We closely guard who has access to your information. Only the therapist, or senior management team can access this information.
Sharing Personal Information
We share Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:
- Our custom built platform, where school dashboards, Gaba Plans etc are available is hosted on Amazon Web Service.
- We use Shopify to power the Gabadoo.com website. You can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
- We use Cliniko for client management, scheduling appointments and providing video consultations and there privacy policy can be viewed here https://www.cliniko.com/policies/privacy/
- We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

- We use Calendly to book some appointment types, primarily when working with the Wellschools Network. There privacy policy is available here https://calendly.com/privacy.
Behavioural Advertising
As described above, we use the account owners Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For example:

- We share information about your use of the Site, your purchases, and your interaction with our ads on other websites with our advertising partners. - We use Brevo to provide email marketing service.

Using Personal Information
We use your personal Information to provide our services to you.
The personal information on your Gabadoo account is not shared or provided to any third party outside of which is mentioned within this privacy policy.
All personal information you have provided is only used to provide services to you through Gabadoo.
Lawful basis
Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), if you are a resident of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), we process your personal information under the following lawful bases:
- Your consent;
- The performance of the contract between you and the Site;
- Compliance with our legal obligations;
- To protect your vital interests;
- To perform a task carried out in the public interest;
- For our legitimate interests, which do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.
GDPR
If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you, to port it to a new service, and to ask that your Personal Information be corrected, updated, or erased. If you would like to exercise these rights, please contact us through the contact information below.
Your Personal Information will be initially processed in Ireland and then will be transferred outside of Europe for storage and further processing, including to Canada and the United States. Only the information about the account holder is transferred outside of EU, information about a child is not processed outside of the EU.
Cookies
